Nikolaos Barotsis is a Research and Academic fellow at the Rehabilitation Department of the University Hospital of Patras, Greece and the head of the Outpatient PRM Clinic of Naxos, Greece. He has finished the PRM residency in 2007 and the training in sports medicine in 2008. He was licensed as MSK ultrasonographer in 2009. His main areas of interest include MSK rehabilitation, sports medicine, musculoskeletal ultrasonography, sarcopenia and ESWT. He has organized workshops and delivered lectures on these topics at national and international meetings.
He has authored 13 publications in various international journals indexed by SCI/SCI-Exp and books. He is also a reviewer for 3 international journals indexed by SCI/SCI-Exp.
He is the incoming President of the European PRM Board of UEMS, EBPRM liaison to Cochrane Rehabilitation, member of EURO-MUSCULUS and ESPRM SISC on ESWT and the coordinator of the European PRM College e-learning.
