ARZU YAĞIZ ON, M.D. is currently a Professor and Director of Clinical Neurophysiology Laboratory at the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) of Ege University, Izmir, Turkey. She graduated from Hacettepe University Medical Faculty, Ankara, Turkey in 1990 and completed her residency training in PM&R at Ege University Medical Faculty, Izmir, Turkey, in 1994. She had her fellowship training in Clinical Neurophysiology at the Department of Neurolgy of Ege University, Turkey in 1994 and at the Clinical Neurophysiology Department of Uppsala University, Sweden in 1996. She received the Associate Professor degree of PM&R in 2002 and Professor degree of PM&R in 2007. Her main areas of interest are clinical neurophysiology, sports rehabilitation and neurological rehabilitation, particularly spasticity and post-polio syndrome.
